Pre-K - 6th Grade JEMS

JEMS (Judaic Education Modules) for Pre-K through 6th Grade

We raise Jewish Mensches through innovative, experiential and FUN programming.
Our award-winning teachers and professional music and theatre specialists utilize the arts, music, drama, cooking, Hebrew Through Movement and more to teach Jewish Values, Torah, Israel, Hebrew, and prayers. Family education, celebrating holidays, Shabbat and Mitzvah opportunities are core to creating lifelong friendships!

All Pre-K through 6th Grade and families will convene once a month on Wednesdays for family holiday celebrations, family social action projects, and various family Mitzvah opportunities throughout the year.

​

In addition, parents will be invited to join Rabbi Li-Paz and Sharone Weizman for scheduled sessions throughout the year to discuss current events that are relevant to raising Jewish children during our current times.

​

All classes are organized by grade level and location.​

Pre-K & K: Wednesdays 3:15-4:15pm, Located at a Private Home with Additional Hybrid Opportunities at VOS

1st & 2nd Grade: Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm, Located at a Private Home with Additional Hybrid Opportunities at VOS

3rd Grade: Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm, Located at VOS with Additional Hybrid Opportunities in the Home

​

4th Grade: Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm, Located at VOS with Additional Hybrid Opportunities in the Home

 

5th Grade: Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm, Located at VOS with Additional Hybrid Opportunities in the Home

 

6th Grade: Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm, Located at VOS with Additional Hybrid Opportunities in the Home

Judaic Learning

• Teacher-facilitated, student-centered approach

• Experiential learning opportunities

• Family learning opportunities

• Community gatherings including Shabbat and holiday celebrations, and community service events

 

Hebrew Learning

• Mastery of Hebrew reading

• Jewish Life Vocabulary

• Hebrew songs and prayers

• B'Nai Mitzvah Prep
