Registration for the VOS JEWELS 2026-2027 school year is now open.
Register by May 15th for 10% off.
Full tuition payment or payment plan.
Please choose no more than 9 payments.

1st payment is due at enrollment, 2nd payment is due September 1st.
Additional 10% off for referrals who enroll and stay for 6 months.
And an additional 10% off as a sibling discount.

Enrollment in VOS JEWELS Eleanor & Herbert Kraft School of Education is a family affair bringing together families for Holiday Programming, Family Shabbat Dinners and Services, Family Communal Events, and our top notch JEWELS Educational Program. Families are required to be VOS members in order to enroll in JEWELS.
​
Families with children in Pre School through 2nd Grade are welcome to try us out without having to become members for their first year. Tuition assistance is available for all who qualify in Grades 4 through 6.

VOS Membership is required for families of students in 3rd – 6th-grade. Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify. Families with children in 2nd grade and younger must become members after their first year of participating in JEWELS.

Applications for tuition assistance are accepted June through August for the coming school year.

Our Program
The JEWELS program brings Judaism to life every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Our approach is experiential and student-centered. Through interactive lessons, creative projects, music, prayer, and community building.

Our Core Themes

Jewish Identity & Values (Middot): Exploring what it means to be Jewish and how Jewish ethics guide our actions and help create A+ Human Beings.

Holidays & Calendar (Chagim): Celebrating the rhythm of the Jewish year and understanding the stories and rituals of each holiday and what opportunities they provide for us today and why they are important.

Prayer & God Talk (T'fillah): Finding personal meaning in prayer and developing a comfortable relationship with Jewish liturgy.

Hebrew & Torah (Ivrit v'Torah): Learning Biblical Hebrew for B’nai Mitzvah, and engaging with the foundational stories of our people bringing those lessons from our texts to modern life.

Community & Israel (Kehillah v'Yisrael): Building our local community and fostering a connection to the State of Israel.

Grade-Level Learning Highlights
Pre – K and Gan (Kindergarten) – Introduction to the building blocks of Judaism. Through music, stories, hands-on activies and active learning in a fun and warm environment, students learn to love Jewish life.

1st Grade (Aleph): Learning the basic values of Judaism, simple prayers, and introduction to the Jewish holidays through Torah stories, art, music, and movement.

2nd & 3rd Grade (Bet and Gimel): Deeper exploration of Jewish values from Torah stories. Students begin learning Hebrew letters and writing. Focusing on active participation in mitzvot, and basic blessings.

4th & 5th Grade (Dalet and Hey): Focus on Jewish life cycle events, Bible Stories, Israel, and Jewish history. Students begin leading parts of the T'fillah (prayer) service, students are exposed to some conversational Hebrew, and participate in a Jewish heroes project.

6th Grade): Jewish values in action, deeper lessons from the Tanakh (Jewish Bible), History of Israel and the year-end goal of knowing the basic T’fillah prayers (including Shabbat prayers, Havdallah, Shema, Ve’ahavta, and Kaddish.

B’nai Mitzvah Year 2026: (could be 6th or 7th grade) B’nai Mitzvah preparation includes 20 hours of private tutoring, school tuition, Better Together Teen Program, and B’nai Mitzvah service. In addition, we will do deep dives into Jewish values and ethics, mentorship for a Mitzvah Project.
