New 7th Grade Program

Our new 7th Grade Program at VOS prepares your pre-teens for their B’nai Mitzvah and the exciting path to young adulthood. Our B’nai Mitzvah Prayer Prep Class will prepare students to excel in reciting prayers and blessings and learning their meanings. Following that, Nosh & Drosh will meet with our Rabbi, Teen Director, and Director of Lifelong Learning where students will engage in meaningful conversations and discussing hot topics. Our new 7th Grade Program allows pre-teens to keep their friends from their 6th Grade classes and create new bonds with other teens through joining our Teen and Intergenerational Program.
NOTE: All 7th Grade students need to be members of VOS in good standing.
What's Included
B’nai Mitzvah Fee

Our new B’nai Mitzvah fee includes an unforgettable service in our beautiful sanctuary with our clergy, and private tutoring.

New 7th Grade Schedule: Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm

4:00-5:00pm: B’nai Mitzvah Prayer Prep Class

Students will focus on all of their prayers, blessings and meanings to prepare for their big event.
5:00-6:00pm: Nosh & Drosh

Students will meet weekly with our Rabbi, Teen Director, and Director of Lifelong Learning in a relaxed environment while having meaningful conversations and discussing hot topics.
New 7th Grade Program Tuition: $1200
Our new 7th grade classes will meet on Wednesdays guided by our new 7th Grade team:
7th Grade teacher, Teen Director, Rabbi Li-Paz,
and Director of Lifelong Learning.
