Raya Kaufman
Originally from Israel where she completed a seminar in education in Jerusalem, Raya has been teaching Hebrew and Judaic studies for the past 22 years. Her passion is working with 6th-graders and preparing them for Bar/Bat Mitzvah while guiding them through the transition from a child to a young Jewish adult. Raya loves teaching and being part of our wonderful community. She is the mother of two and grandmother of four amazing young people. In her spare time, Raya enjoys tending her garden, reading, and video chatting with her grandchildren in Israel.
