Jenny Lerner

Born into a family of actors and raised in Los Angeles, Jenny Lerner is an educator, actress, and singer with a passion for Judaic studies and especially their expression through art. Jenny is a Teaching Artist and actress with a Jewish theatre company, theatre dybbuk. She has worked as a Theatre Arts, Judaic Studies, and Hebrew Language Educator across the country and at various synagogues in Los Angeles including Temple Judea, Temple Beth Am, Adat Ari El, Congregation Or Ami, and Havaya Arts Camp. She also served as Drama Specialist at URJ: OSRUI Summer Camp in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Jenny is incredibly excited to be joining the VOS Team and looks forward to the opportunity to work with both children and teens. Her goal is to make Jewish education meaningful, hands-on and fun! In her free time, Jenny enjoys writing, hiking, reading, watching anything "Masterpiece Theatre" ("Downton Abbey" is a favorite) and spending time with her family, her husband, Jeff, and her cats Nina and Marty.
